Apparently there is a middle-ware, that allows for even OpenGL 4 over Windows Remote, but it's part of a bigger package and is a commercial solution. ( Source) WebDefault OpenGL version supported on Microsoft systems is 1.1. That is a very old version (most recent one is 4.5). The way to get the most recent versions is to update your graphics drivers, but your graphics card must support those new versions. Full list of WGL functions can be found here. Web1 de mar. de 2009 · To clear up the confusion, Vista provides 3 ways to use OpenGL compared to 2 ways on XP: Microsoft’s GDI renderer (1.1) ICDs (1.1 - 3.0, depending on the driver and hardware). Microsoft’s DirectX wrapper (1.4, Vista only) 1 and 3 have always been available. 2 was added on Vista and will probably stay as is on Windows 7.
