Webb10 juni 2024 · You may have noticed when adding a new HDD, they show up in three different states inside Storage Manager: Not Initialised = No system partition, HDD not used in a volume. Initialised = System partition correct, HDD not used in a volume. Normal = System partition correct, HDD used in a volume. WebbI'd like to change my hard drives in my NAS for SSD drives. I know Synology says you need enterprise grade ones to make sure they live long enough, but I assume that's when you're doing a cache, that, by definition, used a lot. But let's say all my drives are regular SSD (maybe not the cheapest on the market, but something decent).
