WebAug 13, 2012 · Review of Fitzroy Island Resort. the campsite is a grassed area with a few barbeques coated with a few months food residue mixed with animal faeces. alongside is one of the dirtiest toilet blocks i have seen in my life. think metal seats (actually no seats at all just metal), toilet paper all over the floor, no soap or paper towel, no hot water ... WebMay 1, 2024 · Fitzroy Island is a "wishlist" destination, however, resort staff and accommodation was disappointing. Very few staff were friendly. Cafe meals closed at 12.45pm (they opened at 11.30am) because they were too busy.
